Mellow type of lick, good for an intro, sorta blues sorta doom/stoner rock, clean tones, lick starts to build up near the end.

2 electric guitarists and one drummer jam metal and hardcore. Recorded with sony tcd d10 pro ii & 2 x sennheiser md21u.

Heavy effects sorta space type of intro then changes into a arena rock 80’s style of riff then some single notes to let the effects ring out (with a hint of slop).

Heavy reverb and delay effects, low gain guitar. To the point type of licks but then some moody chords to finish it out. Probably best served up in smaller sections.

Low distortion, almost surf rock but a bit of country. Or more western than country. Maybe even call it somebody trying to run out of texas into new mexico only for the engine to sputter every few seconds.

Think of a spaceship launching from a desolate planet with hardly any fuel reserves. Sorta heavy distortion with the right amount of phaser and chord progression. Almost moody and atmospheric.

This is a bass sound, not tuned but it is a perfect loop withouth clicks. It has no panning effect - i will do that on another sample. It is not tuned - use a program that tunes the samples to tonal. You must use it only in one octave from c5 to c6. In other octaves sounds not like a normal bass.

A little thing i came up with while doing some research on how j macis writes music. Found out he puts a capo on the second fret and by doing that this japanese pop chord progression i learned by watching a video marty friedman did on japanese style guitar improv was sounding a lot better than without one. For those who like a vintage sound, this impulse response tries to be the most faithful in the type of spring reverb used in the 60s, on vocals, on guitars, and mainly as a mixing reverb as an alternative to plate reverb if do you want the sound of a garage rock or dub. Depending on the context, you can leave the reverb in mono which reinforces the vintage character.

Think maybe a sabbath type of riff, low gain distortion but enough of an edge to call it thick/heavy. Probably better split into a smaller segment. Number 95 – flange harmonics g to d – harmonic noise which you could probably use smaller pieces of to signal an alarm/warning type of sound.

A rickenbacker 4003 playing a melodic lick. I played the bass connected directly to a motu 828mkii. I recorded using logic running under os x 10. 10 yosemite on a mac mini. This should be mono, but i calculated the difference between left and right channel and it is not zero. So i uploaded it as a stereo file. Could use some denoising. There is some silence at the beginning so you can do that if you need.
